16/8-2010  Snorre Australian ChampionLast night when I went to complete the paper work for Noni's championship I found a Challenge Certificate for Snorre behind one of hers.
That makes yesterday a very exciting day here at Saphyr's Run with two Champions on the one day as Snorre's BOB made him up as
Australian & Swedish Champion Honeyrags Island Duke of Villa Rosa
Perhaps this is a first for Australia? I haven't had time to research.
Meanwhile congratulations to breeder Sandra Hellsing and thanks again to Kickie & Chris Norrby for letting me bring of their beautiful boy to the other side of the world.

Det var i Augusti 1985 som vi fick brevet från SKK att vårt kennelnamn Villa Rosas blivit godkänt! Thanks for all flowers and good wishes we've got so far. This beautiful flower we have got from our insurance company Agria's agent Helene Borgryd. THANKS! It was actually in August 1985 we got the letter from the Swedish Kennel Club telling our kennel name Villa Rosas was approved!

Chris and Dagge are watching football at TV in the hotel in Aarhus! Midsommer eve we spent in the show halls in Herning, participating in the World Dog Show! It was a good day for Villa Rosa. Three dogs with our prefix was entered and all got Excellent. Villa Rosas Slaney HOS was 2nd in a huge open class males.. Shiko (MultiCH VR Lochlainn from Russia) and Dagge (Villa Rosas Uisge Dew) weren't placed. |
Den 11 Juli 2010 fyllde Paddy 14 år!Paddy är den första svenkuppföda Wheaten att bli Amerikansk Champion! Grattis!!! The 11th of July Paddy had his 14th birthday!!!Paddy is the first Swedish bred Wheaten to become American Champion! Congratulations!!!
Chris o Dagge laddar upp för Världsutställningen på hotellrummet i Århus!Midsommafton 2010 tillbringar vi i mässhallarna i Herning på Jylland! Det blev en bra dag för Villa Rosa. Tre hundar med prefixet deltog och alla fick excellent. Villa Rosas Slaney HOS blev dessutom 2a i en enorm öppen klass hanar. Shiko (MultiCH Villa Rosas Lochlainn från Ryssland) och Dagge (Villa rosas Uisge Dew) var oplacerade. Utöver detta var det väldigt många hundar med en förälder med Villa Rosa prefixet som fick framskjutna placeringar. Bäst gick det för vinnaren från Tjeckien (se bild på första sidan)! En ryskuppfödd tik Penelopa Mariolle med CH VR Lochlainn som pappa vann öpenklass tikar i en klass på 36 st tog certet och RCACIB! Unghundsklass tikar vanns av Hobel Miss Molly en svensk hund från Irland med CH Villa Rosas Jill Na Lausitz som mamma och CH Villa Auroras Attila undan VR Kaleigh blev fyra bland championhanarna för att nämna några, men det var fler. Som någon sa -"Ni är med överallt ;-)" Alla resultat For results click above But many of the placed dogs had a Villa Rosa parent. For example the best of Breed dog from Czechia (look at the first page), a Russian bred bitch Penelopa Mariolle won an enormous open class of 36 bitches took the CAC and Reserve CACIB, her sire is Villa Rosas Lochlainn. Intemediate class bitces was won by Hobel Miss Molly, a bitch bred in Ireland and her mother is CH Villa Rosas Jill Na Lausitz and Villa Auroras Atilla ex CH VR Kaleigh was 4th in open class males to mention a few and there were more. 20/6 Dear Kickie
I was today in Kotka international with Remu & Pimu and showed them both (Kirsi couldn't come with me this time). We had such a super day there!! The judge was Paul Scanlon from Ireland. There were 14 wheatens entered.
Remu was Best Male 2 and got cc and res-cacib. Remus's R-CACIB will end up to CACIB because Best Male 1 is already an Int Ch:) Now we could actually just rest and wait until Remu will be two years and can then get his third cc and Fin Ch. Should we just wait... and not show him until that? Nooooup! ;)

Snorre i AustralienDen 5 maj flög Snorre till Melburne med mellanlandningar i London och Singapore. Flygresan hade gått bra och han var helt opoverkad vid framkomsten. Trots att Sverige är rabiesfritt och att vi inte har några tropiska sjukdomar var han tvungen att vaccineras och testas för många sjukdomar och framme i Australien måste han även sitta i karantän i en månad. Med sitt underbara temperament har charmat hela personalen och bor i en lyxigaste kenneln! Alla bara älskar honom;-) Han har också en personlig skötare som här syns med honom på bilden. Den 6e juni, på Sveriges nationaldag, kommer han ut ur karantänen och får åka hem till Margaret Gray på kennel Saphyr's Run. Vi önskar dom båda LYCKA TILL i framtiden. |
Snorre in AustraliaThe 5th of May Snorre flew to Melburne with stops in London and Singapore. The flight had went well and he was in excelent condition when he arrived. Though Sweden is free of rabies and any tropical diseases he had to get a lot of vaccinations and tests before going and when he arrived he was put in quarantine for a month. His lovely temperament and behaviour has mede him very popular and he actually has the most luxurus kennel with heating and AC and whatever he needs ;-) They all just love him. He has also a personal caretaker together with him in the photo. The 6th of June he will come out from the quarantine and home to Margaret Gray at kennel Saphyr's Run. We wish them bot GOOD LUCK in the future. |

Tomorrow is Skatan's 14th birthday. She is still healthy and sturdy and
Keith's blond. She shows very little signs of aging. She sleeps on our bed
all day but is very happy when her Dad comes home from work. She is truly
his blond. I am attaching a photo we took at Christmas of our girl. She is
truly a treasure!! Thanks for sending her to us we cherish every day we have
with her.

den 13/12-2009 Heijka of Queen Stars hos Kennel Joyful i Danmark fick 12 valpar på 4 timmar!!! 4 hanar och 8 tikar Heika of Queen Stars whelped 12 puppies in 4 hours at Kennel Joyful in Denmark. 4 males and 8 females. Sire is Snorre (SECH Honeyrags Island Duke Of Villa Rosa) Once again he has sired an enormous litter. Kennel Joyful
